NEW BOOK COVERS!

i had the pleasure to create two covers for acclaimed fiction author Matt Carrell. having been a fan of his books already it was great to come up with ideas to enhance his vision and hopefully help him get his great new novels recognized. The first was for a short story called "A friend in Need".
The other is for Matt's new novel "Blood Brothers...Thai Style".
Both books will be available shortly from Amazon. You can check out Matt Carrell's books at his Amazon page. Next I will start to redesign his older covers starting with "Thai Kiss"...

NEUE COMIC-SCHULE!

TV APPEARANCE!

Yesterday I had my second appearance at the local TV-station TVO. This time it was shot at a large trade fair in Saint Gallen. There was a short interview at the beginning followed by three interspersed segments as well the ending sequence.
I'm pretty happy with it but it was hard work. Not sure how actors are doing this every day on set. Please note: The program is in Swiss German!

Enjoy

COMIC FESTIVAL IN ANGOULEME!

The last week in January can only mean one thing. The gigantic comic festival in Angoulême is taking place again. Located 2 hours by TGV south of Paris this is the biggest comic-related event in Europe.

As expected, this year's festival was under the star of the horrible events in Paris a few weeks previously. Several memorial ceremonies were planned and security was at an all time high. Luckily I can report that everything went over peacefully and no incidents occurred. The German publisher JNK even printed a tribute magazine in French as a give away. I also contributed one page.

I was present with a booth, for the the first time in the "Bulle Nouveau Monde". It was nice to meet all the readers and make new contacts. Below are a few impressions for your enjoyment...
